Here in Georgia, in the Southern USA, snow is a bit of a rarity..at least, REAL snow that you can really play in and get your car stuck in. Basically what we get is two inches, which causes everyone to panic and run to the store for bread, milk and toilet paper. Then our already severely obnoxious drivers-on-cellphones tend to forget even the most basic concepts of driving (gas, brake, etc..) and we have the recipe for mayhem on the highways.
The good people at Stone Mountain Park decided to change all that by whipping up some snow for us non-white-Christmasers by covering a major lawn area in the park with a blanket of lovely artificial snow. Now we have Snow Mountain.
Taking Dinky along to investigate this new powdery phenomenon, Steve and I chat with one of the workers while Dinky plays with a “snowball” that was offered.
(I was being a bit dainty with operating Dinky since I didn’t want him to get his hooves too wet.)
