We have several shows that also include a simple workshop(usually a paper stick puppet–no glue, no mess) afterward, themed toward the show, equaling about 45 minutes of entertainment and fun. “Backstage tours” in small groups are of course welcomed after the show. Please contact us for pricing!
We are currently developing three new shows–please check back soon!
|Jimmie Kate’s Hoedown of Friendship and Love
||Jimmie Kate is a spunky little palomino horse who is just rarin’ to sing a little song or two and introduce you to her country-western animal friends—-wolves, lizards and even a buffalo! They perform three short skits all about friendship, love, generosity and helping others. At the show’s finale, four adults from the audience will be “roped” into service for a stick horse race to demonstrate sportsmanship. Probably the biggest laughs in the show, however, go to Jimmie Kate’s diminutive stagehand, Dinky Donkey. Show is approximately 20 minutes, followed by a short workshop everyone can do right where they are sitting: making a paper stick horse puppet.
|The Tale of the Screaming Skull (Halloween Show)
||Vapor the Ghost is the Host with the Most in this chilling (and sometimes hilarious) tale of a wife not following the last wishes of her departed husband. Requires full audience participation with both children and adults coming up on stage (especially a dad with a good set of lungs, as he will be chosen for the part of the Screaming Skull). Show is approximately twenty minutes and can be repeated a second time at no cost if host wishes; usually when I do this show, I have people jumping up and down to get a chance to be in it.
|Ruby the Red-Nosed Reindeer (Christmas Show)
||Ruby is the sometimes-overlooked younger sister to the famous Rudolph, and on the day of a huge homecoming party for her famous brother, Ruby feels that she’s nothing special. However, it turns out that the little important things Ruby can do actually save the party! Show is approximately 20 minutes, followed by a short workshop everyone can do right where they are sitting: making a stick puppet reindeer.
